The whole team was absolutely awesome! Very responsive, friendly and knowledgeable. They provided us two brand new Specialized road bikes with carbon fiber frame, Shimano Ultegra groupset and even Look pedals.
I strongly recommend them!

Bike Switzerland is a professional outfit, and cater especially well for the serious cyclist who wants to get in some riding while holidaying. In our case, we rented a couple of the Trek road bikes. They were well maintained and in good condition, and were perfect for our purposes. All in all, a very satisfying bike rental experience - one of the best I've experienced.

I would like to thank you and your staff for your service and helpfulness and for the high quality and well maintained and presented Emonda. My only regret is sleeping through the alarm and missing the Saturday shop ride.

Great experience with Bike Switzerland. Easy to contact you, easy to book online, good communication, bike ready when I arrived. The bike was really good too, no problem at all mechanic or puncture, perfect day on the bike. Really easy to accommodate the pick up and drop time which is super convenient. Friendly relation in the shop. I only have positive feedbacks. Will love to rent again with you.

I want to thank your company for making my bike trip in Europe great. My bike was waiting for me at the Zurich train station as arranged and it was in perfect condition. Your website made it easy to pick my bike and the accessories that I needed.

Every year we go on a cycling holiday in Switzerland. This year we started in Geneva, and we found Bike Switzerland on the internet. The bikes were in perfect condition, all was very smooth. Would highly recommend Bike Switzerland to anyone going on a cycling trip!

We hired 2 Trek bikes for 2 friends who were joining us on a mini 'Tour de Suisse’. Hiring the bikes from Bike Switzerland was really easy to arrange, and being able to drop them off after hours at the week-end was brilliant. Highly recommended.

Truly, the bikes performed without a hitch. The gearing for the Furka was perfect (if only I didn't have 25-30 pounds of gear to lug with me). The top gear was sweet for cruising speed. The wheels were exceptionally true and the saddles were just right. All in all the rigs served us well.

Last weekend I rented a Trek S6 carbon thing from Bike Switzerland just to see what a carbon bike is like. I had a blast around Lake Geneva with it.
Everything came with…helmet, repair kit, choice of pedals. Very easy.

I had never ridden a road bike before but John and the team picked out a fantastic bike suitable for me! Arranging this was so simple! I just went on their website and provided a few details and made a reservation. Once in Geneva, I tried the bike and they adjusted a few things for my fit. I absolutely loved this bike! The gears were so smooth and it was a pleasure to ride! I would definitely recommend Bike Switzerland!

The bike I rented with you responded very well to my expectations for the route we did in Switzerland. The geometry is very similar to the bike I use back home in Brazil, so it gave me great comfort on the trails. Also, not having to carry my bike on the plane from Brazil to Europe was a relief as there is always a risk of losing our damaging equipment.

My experience with your shop was great. I rented a 2013 BMC Granfondo. All of the staff are friendly & knowledgable, and were very flexible with pickup & drop-off scheduling. The bike was ready when I arrived and was showroom new. It rode great for the week I used it and required little adjustment. I also found that renting vs. shipping my bike from home was cheaper – my riding buddy shipped his from the U.S., and it cost him over U.S. $400 round trip. We stayed in Apt, France and rode Mont Ventoux to watch that stage of the tour and explore the area around Apt. I would definitely use your shop again. Thanks,

We had a fantastic break around Morzine and Lake Geneva but the highlight had to be our ascent of the Col de la Joux Verte on a sunny day following rain and snow the day prior. The BMC bikes were very well equipped and well maintained with slick shifting Shimano Ultegra and 105 chainsets which inspired confidence whilst climbing and the bike geometry, tyres and brakes inspired even more confidence when descending. Helen's bike also came with a Selle Italia LDY saddle which was so plush and comfortable, she bought one on our return home. The guys in the shop were really helpful. All in we had a fantastic time and the bikes were probably the best rentals we've ever had. Thank you

Traveling to Europe from Toronto, Canada for work and a cycle vacation is a challenge as having a bike during the work portion is cumbersome. Add to this the added expense of paying the airline for bike transport and risking damage makes renting in Europe a terrific option. The key though is finding the right rental partner. Bike Switzerland is just that partner. The on-online rental process was quick and easy. My numerous equipment inquires were answered immediately which was such a relief with so many other things to worry about. The bikes were dropped off and picked up from our hotel with typically Swiss punctuality. The whole experience was easy and stress free. The bikes were Scott CR1 and were tuned to precision making the 1,000kms we put on that week roll by and instilling confidence descending Col Semnoz at…. well, let’s just leave it at fast. I would not hesitate to use Bike Switzerland for my next trip. Best regards,

I was flying in to Geneva from Canada and knew that I had few hours before my meeting started, a great chance to go for a ride in the surrounding countryside. I was able to organize the rental online easily a couple of days before my arrival. When I arrived at the shop I met my fantastic guide Sally, and we had a lovely four-hour tour of the hills and villages of the Jura, including a stop for an espresso on an outdoor patio. I was back just in time to head to my meeting feeling refreshed and that I had a little taste of the Alps. Thanks for the great experience!

Hiring from you at Bike Switzerland was a great option this year when I travelled from Australia to watch the Alpine stages of the 100th Tour de France. No worrying about my own bike being damaged in transit, or having to worry about loading a big bike box into my hire car. Great service when I arrived at the shop, the bike was set up correctly as specified right down to the correct pedals and off I went. The bike was tuned and serviced and never missed a beat. Thanks to You for making my TdF so much easier this year.

I arranged a bike trip for myself and four of my friends, all from Boulder, Colorado, to ride some of the famous passes in Switzerland. Because it costs so much fly with your own bike these days, I decided to look around for rentals. Luckily, I came across Bike Switzerland via a Google search and began a conversation with the owner: John Klemme. He directed me to the rental page on Bike Switzerland’s website and there I had a look at what they had to offer. I was pleasantly surprised at the matrix of choices; BMC road bikes, hybrid bikes and mountain bikes each model coming in three different sizes. Great bikes and greater still, Bike Switzerland will ship the bikes from Geneva by train to any city in the country. You pick up the bikes at the railway station of the city you specify and return them via rail back to Geneva. The prices are very competitive and the no-hassle pickup and return make it viable option to bringing you own bike. Upon receipt of the cycles, we were all very pleased with their condition, gearing, accessories, and helmets. We started in Andermatt and rode the Furka Pass, the Oberalp pass and the Grochener Alp. From there, we went to Interlaken and rode around Lake Brienz and the next day we rode to Grindlewald. After that, we finished by doing a local mountain ride above Interlaken We had zero problems with the bikes during our ten days in beautiful Switzerland!

My rental bike was a very nice BMC-Ultegra and was superior to my own bike. Since returning home I have really noticed how good the bike was compared to mine…especially the brakes. I had a great time riding with a group doing a "Tour des Grandes Alpes", and this picture shows me near the top of the Alpe d'Huez. The bike was well equipped and gave no problems at all. No one of the 4 or 5 of us who hired from Bike Switzerland Rentals ever had to use the supplied repair kits, but were glad to have them.

Thanks for the awesome BMC street racer bikes. Both bikes performed very well, we found them to be quite responsive. They were also well geared for both the flats and climbing. I appreciate that we were able to take them out during the social ride for a test ride and fit before setting off for 240 km. The service was exceptional. Very friendly staff - both through correspondence during booking and once we arrived at the shop. It was great to have all the kit for a roadside repair, which gave us peace of mind being on an unsupported trip. We also got some good route suggestions and things to see along the way. I attached a few photos and the route we took. Its highly recommended for those in town for a short duration and want to fit in some cycling. I also referenced Bike Switzerland in our blog - www.2nuksabroad.blogspot.com Cheers,

The bike was great. Seeing as we were climbing it was fabulous to have the triple chain ring! Had a couple of front wheel flats on downhills but the cartridges worked really well and refilled right up to 110 pressure. Thanks for your help.

As you know, I was participating in the Cyclotour around the Lac Leman the 27th of May, 180 km, Instead of bringing my own racer from Sweden I found this great website and decided to rent the racer from Bike Switzerland and I am so pleased and it fulfilled all my expectations to complete such a great race. The bike was really great, new, clean and easy to ride and arrived at the train station in Lausanne from Geneva without a problem. I will be back next year and of course I will do the same and rent the bike from you. Merci beaucoup!

This was the first time I decided to rent a bike and it could not have gone any better. The bikes were of high quality, dependable and it was such a joy to not have to pack and fly my own bike over. Also, knowing that a bike is already waiting for me and ready to go is so comforting. In the past, I would always have to hold my breath when arriving in Europe and wondering if my bike made it as well and in one piece. One time it did not show up and another time it was damaged. Needless to say, both trips were ruined. Take all of the positive comments I just made and add to it your professionalism, knowledge and wonderful hospitality and renting from you is an obvious choice. I can promise you this...for any bike trips I do in Europe, if I am anywhere near Switzerland and can rent from you...I WILL !!!. Craig Fish

They were fun bikes to ride, responsive yet stable, and top quality. We did a number of rides around Mathonex/Samoens, with our “epic ride” being an ascent of the Col de Joux Plane followed by a great descent into Morzine, then through Les Gets, Taninges and back to Samoens. We did this on the rest day and met and chatted with Phil Anderson (Aussie cycling legend) at the café at the top, as well as spotting Lance out for his training ride … he did the same ride as us (but starting/finishing in Morzine) for his rest day ride !!!

It handled well on and off road, it shifted easily, the brakes did what they were supposed to do, and pedaling in the highest and lowest gears worked just fine. I'm used to riding a road bike that needs far more papmpering than the AlpenChallenge, and it was a real treat to ride an excellent bike on a beautiful journey.

The bikes were in great condition and, as your site indicates, were very well suited to the riding conditions we encountered.

Also, the equipment (panniers, lock, phone, etc.) was clean and worked flawlessly (not always a given with rental gear). Finally, your mechanic in Geneva was very helpful when we returned the bikes. We knew he didn't speak English, but he did his best to communicate and I do appreciate his taking care of the reimbursement for the cost of that spoke repair.
